Our epoxy river tables start with two strong slabs of hardwood and a gap between them that's just waiting to become a river. We seal, dam, and pour epoxy into that channel - sometimes clear, sometimes tinted - then let time and chemistry do the rest.

Once cured, the whole top is flattened and sanded until wood and resin meet in a perfectly smooth surface. The finish is durable enough for real use, whether you choose a coffee table, desk, or dining-size piece.

Every river runs a little differently: swirls, depth, and tiny details appear in the epoxy that you simply can't plan down to the last line. That unpredictability, paired with the solid feel of the wood, is what makes each table feel like functional art for the room it ends up in.
